Project Brief

I was given the unique opportunity to be a part of the execution of the first ever Virtual JA Africa Company Of the Year competition. As the creative on the team, I had to determine and design the look and feel content, editing and file output.

Again, due to the open waves of Covid-19, there was the need to yet again resort to a virtual competition. This time, I played a similar role as creative lead and content developer, but more extensively with more managerial focus of the team and vendors, whiles delivering project report.

Project Goal

The entire production took place in 5 weeks, within which I produced a series of webinars and the three-day virtual competition. By designing content and managing webinar session recording and social media broadcasts. Designing of content from Layouts, Logo Animation, Lowerthirds, Bumpers, Transitions, Voting ads, Leaderboard, Awards Content and Trophy design, Judge's welcome intros, etc.

Cont’d
For the production of the webinars, the pre-recorded ses- sions, hosted on zoom, were post-produced and arranged into graphic templates custom designed for the event. The same was done for the Opening Ceremony and Competition Day with MC set inserts which were pre-recorded at a custom designed studio set. The Awards Ceremony, also broadcast to Facebook, was produced as a live event and took place in a vibrantly designed studio with a live audience of participants and award presenters joining via a Zoom call.
